Spindletop Physical Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This full-time, onsite role focuses on delivering personalized physical therapy services to patients in the comfort of their homes. Work Environment

This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, operating Monday through Friday. You will be working primarily in home care settings, allowing you to establish meaningful connections with your patients as you conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions directly in their homes. Coordinating efforts with a multidisciplinary team, you will have access to a variety of resources to support patient care and clinical best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' conditions and develop tailored treatment programs in accordance with physician referrals.
• Implement plan of care with a focus on patient-centered, evidence-based practices that optimize rehabilitation.
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, ensuring outstanding customer service and effectively contributing to the team's overall effectiveness.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of each patient.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on effective management strategies and therapeutic exercises to promote long-term health.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet minimum utilization goals while focusing on quality patient care.
• Engage with a supportive team to maximize patient outcomes and share best practices within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions. You will have the chance to build strong therapeutic relationships with patients, empowering them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain their independence through customized physical therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal regulations and practice standards.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications for patient documentation and reporting.
• Ability to establish and maintain trusting relationships within the community and with patients, demonstrating a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in a home care environment.
• Experience with a variety of patient populations, enhancing versatility in treatment methodologies.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinical documentation requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, ensuring competitive compensation.
