Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual student needs, exploring personal histories, presenting issues, and potential risk factors.

• Collaborate with students to develop personalized treatment plans that target mental health concerns, enhance emotional well-being, and support academic and social integration.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to facilitate healing and resilience.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on developing emotional regulation skills, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to student care and treatment coordination.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention, employing de-escalation techniques and determining the appropriate level of care if a student is in mental health distress.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues and available resources, thereby empowering them with knowledge to seek help.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including assessments and treatment plans.

• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities to foster a collaborative environment and enhance best practices within the school mental health framework.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW at Mind Marvel Institute will primarily focus on a diverse population of students from various backgrounds, with a range of mental health needs. This includes supporting students experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and behavioral challenges, among other mental health concerns. By providing targeted, compassionate care, you will help students improve their emotional resilience, social skills, and academic performance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Colorado.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Mind Marvel Institute offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
