Work Environment

This position will be carried out onsite at our outpatient office. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and resources designed to assist you in delivering top-notch care. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, collaborating closely with fellow therapists, administrative staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each patient's objectives and needs, ensuring personalized treatment approaches.
• Manage a consistent patient load, typically treating one patient per hour, allowing for focused and individualized care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that utilize diverse therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual's requirements.
• Educate patients on the benefits of non-surgical options and cost-effective therapies aimed at improving their mobility.
• Promote and instruct on exercises and wellness routines that foster strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately, maintaining effective communication throughout the recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share insights and strategies to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. Our patient population values hands-on care, and you will be critical in providing personalized treatment plans that emphasize rehabilitation and preventive strategies. Your expertise will greatly contribute to nurturing their physical health and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates with a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is mandatory.
• Clean professional record without any board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques to aid recovery and enhance mobility.
• Competence in designing and implementing effective exercise programs for diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT to enhance workflow and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, we are also open to qualified candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and professional development. Essential hands-on experience with evidence-based practices, especially in managing orthopedic cases, will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits
