Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, and develop tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members about the rehabilitation process, including the importance of adherence to prescribed exercises and the use of assistive devices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses both the physical and emotional well-being of our patients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from children recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients needing rehabilitation after surgeries. Your expertise will be essential in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, helping them regain strength and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid physical therapist license to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic documentation systems for patient records is necessary.
• A flexible mindset and ability to adapt to varying patient needs are highly valued traits.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred.
