Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modality-based interventions.
• Administer therapeutic treatments aimed at alleviating pain and improving functional mobility, utilizing professional therapeutic methodologies tailored to patient needs.
• Document and maintain accurate records of patient progress, responses to treatment, and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, the use of assistive devices, and effective self-care strategies to support long-term recovery and wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure cohesive patient care and to discuss any necessary modifications in treatment.
• Stay current with advances in physical therapy practices and continuously seek to enhance your professional knowledge through workshops, seminars, and professional courses.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

• Proficient in word processing and electronic medical record systems.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care and scheduling.
• New graduates are welcome; prior experience is not required.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
• Experience in developing comprehensive rehabilitation plans and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
