Although the position is remote, our social workers frequently collaborate with educational professionals, therapists, and support staff to ensure holistic care tailored to the needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the individual needs of children and their families.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring all team members are aligned with the family's goals.

• Monitor and evaluate the progress of children, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize developmental outcomes.
\n
• Develop strong rapport with children and families, fostering an open, trusting relationship that promotes a healthy learning environment.
\n
• Provide expert guidance and strategies to families utilizing evidence-based practices and emphasizing Natural Learning Environment practices.
\n
• Educate families about child development and provide resources to enhance skills related to their child’s growth.
\n
• Utilize coaching models and natural environment teaching techniques to engage children in their learning process.
\n
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations, ensuring compliance with best practices to maintain the health and safety of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LCSWs focus primarily on young children, particularly those experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. They work closely with infants and toddlers, addressing needs across physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communicative domains. This engagement not only supports the child’s development but also empowers families by providing crucial information and resources tailored to their specific circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver’s license, as some travel may be required for in-person family consultations or multi-disciplinary team meetings.

• A minimum of one year of experience in early intervention or related settings focusing on children.

• Proficiency in adapting to various learning styles to effectively meet the individualized needs of each child.

• Highly organized with excellent time management skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
