Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the mental health needs, trauma history, and readiness for various treatment modalities.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that specifically target trauma recovery and resilience building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma experiences collaboratively, develop personalized coping strategies, and promote their healing journey.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to help clients navigate their most challenging moments.

• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the variety of resources available to them.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation to meet legal, ethical, and organizational requirements.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
