Partner Solutions Sales Engineer

Overview Employer Industry: Internet of Things (IoT) and Connected Operations Why consider this job opportunity Salary up to $233,000 USD Performance-based bonus/variable pay and equity options available for eligible roles Flexible employee-led remote working model Comprehensive health and parental leave plans Opportunity for career advancement and growth alongside a high-performance culture Chance to make a real-world impact on the efficiency and safety of fleet operations What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Drive engagement with Fleet Management Company (FMC) partners Act as a technical and strategic advisor on the integration of Samsara and FMC platforms Develop deep relationships with key FMC partners and become an expert in their platforms and workflows Assist FMC partners in leveraging Samsara's open APIs for impactful integrations Deliver presentations, demos, and training while serving as a technical resource for partners and customer-facing teams What is Required (Qualifications) 5 or more years of experience in a pre-sales, customer success, or technical support role Strong aptitude for continuous learning and professional growth Ability to influence stakeholders with technical sales acumen and understanding of business processes Experience integrating SaaS platforms using RESTful APIs Willingness to travel up to 25% to support partners and customers How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Previous experience working in a channel or partner-driven environment, ideally with FMCs Strong technical and business acumen Working knowledge of common integration standards such as REST, XML, SOAP, or EDI Background in fleet operations, logistics, supply chain, telematics, or transportation technology #IoT #ConnectedOperations #FleetManagement #RemoteWork #CareerGrowth #TechnicalSales We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
