Job title: Strategic Account Manager Location: Atlanta, GA Strategic Account Manager (SAM) Job Description About the Job The Strategic Account Manager? (SAM) role is part of our highly skilled, forward‑thinking sales team that serves our largest and most complex customers, including Health Systems, IHNs, Medical Groups, PBGs, FQHCs and state awardees. We manage our highest valued vaccine contracts and deliver more than 500 million vaccine doses a year. As a SAM, you will help advance prevention on a global scale, shape the future of immunization, and drive value co‑creation with customers to meet or exceed Sanofi’s revenue targets. Main Responsibilities Assume the leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross‑functional internal and external team members as needed. Lead strategic customers as business partnerships, build strategic account plans, and deploy resources to drive value creation. Build and grow trust‑based relationships with external stakeholders to generate revenue through genuine partnerships within Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers. Maintain deep understanding of the customer’s business model, strategic goals, and competitive environment. Identify and qualify high‑value opportunities by working directly with the customer to develop growth strategies, align team‑to‑team activities, and establish executive relationships. Conduct business coaching and strategy sessions to facilitate customer value and ensure ongoing internal alignment. About You Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of field sales or account management experience Broad understanding of health system business, decision‑making processes and market trends, with a proven track record of accessing C‑suite to D‑suite decision makers Proven ability to translate health system market knowledge and develop strategic plans with internal stakeholders Strong ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and prioritize multiple projects Preferred Qualifications MBA or other advanced degree Strong data analytics skills Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting or Finance Proficiency with MS Office and customer‑management databases Experience leading teams with demonstrated impact and influence with key internal stakeholders Strong field sales experience working with P&T committees and decision makers in hospitals and health systems Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills Self‑directed, organized, with excellent execution and planning skills Ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a vehicle Travel Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to customers, conventions, training and other internal meetings Why Choose Us?
