Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will engage in a variety of essential activities, including:

• Conducting culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments to identify the needs of new clients and their families.

• Providing individualized and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific requirements of each patient.
\n
• Completing necessary documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, within designated timeframes.
\n
• Developing crisis intervention plans, safety protocols, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to ensure clients maintain stability.
\n
• Creating comprehensive discharge plans that support the sustained mental health of clients after treatment.
\n
• Adhering strictly to federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Participating in ongoing training sessions, case consultations, and organizational meetings to continually enhance clinical skills.
\n
• Meeting all licensure renewal requirements and mandatory training as prescribed by regulatory authorities.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the State of Illinois.
