Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health to determine their current status and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address specific mental health conditions, including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, focusing on providing clients with coping strategies and therapeutic tools to help them effectively manage their issues.

• Maintain detailed and accurate client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, making referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists as necessary, to provide comprehensive care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision, remaining current with therapeutic methodologies and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice caters to a varied demographic, dealing with diverse mental health challenges primarily within the Paterson community. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from varying backgrounds, including those experiencing anxiety disorders, substance use challenges, depression, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in the mental health field, demonstrating expertise with various patient populations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues alike.
