Position Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers in Tenafly, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by using clinical tests, measurements, and patient histories to determine individual treatment needs.
• Design customized treatment plans with a focus on post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, chronic pain management, and mobility enhancement.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, rehabilitation goals, and self-management strategies, empowering them to take active roles in their recovery.
• Regularly communicate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, ensuring equipment is in good working order and ready for use by patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily focus on treating patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including those following surgical procedures related to joint replacements, fractures, tendon repairs, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from young athletes to seniors, all of whom benefit from tailored rehabilitation programs that address their unique needs and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• Strong clinical assessment and evaluation skills, essential for determining effective treatment strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice in developing exercise programs adaptable to various ability levels and comorbidities.
• A background in patient education and motivational strategies to enhance patient engagement and compliance.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
