Work Environment\n

This full-time LCSW position is a remote role, allowing flexibility while still being engaged in a school atmosphere. You will report to the Lead Mental Health Coordinator and work closely with educators and support staff. Your work schedule will generally be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to ensure comprehensive mental health service coverage. You may also be required to be on-call to address urgent student mental health situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, considering individual histories, presenting issues, and environmental contexts.

• Collaborate with students to develop personalized treatment plans that address mental health concerns, facilitate emotional growth, and encourage positive integration within the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed therapies, to provide individualized and group therapy sessions that support student development.

• Offer crisis intervention strategies, employing de-escalation techniques, and coordinate with team members for any urgent care needs.

• Guide students through psychoeducational initiatives that enhance their understanding of mental health, coping strategies, and available resources for further support.

• Maintain precise and compliant documentation for all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to uphold the highest professional standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in team meetings, case conferences, and staff development workshops to continually refine your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on K-12 students in a private school setting, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. By creating a safe space for students to express their feelings, you will not only impact individual lives but also enhance the overall culture of well-being within the school.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably within a mental health or educational context.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, adept at employing evidence-based treatments and evidenced trauma-informed practices.

• Expertise in conducting mental health assessments, making diagnoses, and strategizing effective treatment plans.

• Demonstrated ability to manage individual and group therapeutic sessions using diverse techniques tailored to student needs.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills along with the ability to navigate high-stress situations calmly and effectively.

• Adept interpersonal skills that facilitate trust-building with students and families from diverse backgrounds.

• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) management and proficient computer skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation range for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
