Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify treatment goals.

• Facilitate both group and individual counseling sessions, employing evidence-based practices to foster client growth.

• Provide 24-hour crisis support as needed, ensuring clients feel safe and supported even outside scheduled sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with youth and adults from various backgrounds who may struggle with complex mental health issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your approach to therapy will be rooted in empathy, evidence-based methodologies, and a tailored strategy to meet each client's unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 5 years of practiced experience as a licensed professional counselor, including supervised clinical practice.

• Deep knowledge of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, with the ability to develop effective treatment plans across a diverse client base.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Pearl River Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
