Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to fully understand each client's unique mental health concerns, utilizing clinically approved methods and tools.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Watertown Family Care Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will play a critical role in delivering culturally competent care, promoting inclusivity and understanding among all client interactions. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degrees such as a Master’s or Doctorate is highly desirable.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, with a preference for clinical context.
