Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate healing and foster personal development.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, participating in case consultations and team meetings.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training sessions, to stay informed about the latest mental health research and practices.

Your work will primarily involve assisting individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly within a clinical setting, is essential.

• Annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload, with opportunities for bonuses.
