This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with families and team members effectively from your own environment. Although the work is conducted remotely, you will be an integral part of a supportive team dedicated to children's services. Our school facility provides an innovative setting where you'll collaborate with educators and other professionals to design individualized plans that cater to the developmental needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify their developmental needs.

• Engage actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).
\n
• Monitor progress and outcomes as a collaborative team member, ensuring that each child receives tailored support.
\n
• Provide direct consultations and support to families, helping them understand and navigate the resources available for their children's development.
\n
• Comply with all federal and state regulations associated with early intervention services.
\n
• Establish strong rapport with children, families, and team members, fostering a healthy and supportive learning environment.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to create joint plans with families focused on developmental strategies.
\n
• Recommend service frequency based on each child's developmental status, as well as family priorities and concerns.
\n
• Use coaching models and natural environment teaching to facilitate learning and development.
\n
• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards to ensure the well-being of all colleagues and clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children from birth to three years old with disabilities or developmental delays. You will work closely with their families to provide early intervention that improves physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills during their critical first years of life. This specialized role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by these families and the ability to offer tailored support that promotes positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.

• Current licensure by the Department of Public Health; LCSW is required.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as necessary to serve families.
\n
• One year of experience working specifically with children in early intervention settings.

• Expertise in adapting to varied learning styles and effectively addressing each child’s individualized treatment plan.

• Commitment to natural learning environment practices in delivering services.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional time management capabilities.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

• Fluency in multiple languages is encouraged but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous work in a remote setting, demonstrating effectiveness in virtual communication and collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits\n
