Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patients' psychological well-being, employing standardized tools and personal interviews.

• Craft and execute individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and patient needs, leveraging diverse therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize recognized therapeutic models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at fostering community, coping strategies, and shared experiences among participants.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and smooth navigation of patient treatment paths.
\n
• Support clients during crises by providing immediate interventions and referrals to appropriate services when necessary.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation reflects patient progress and interventions.

• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and learning from colleagues to enhance professional practice.

• Commit to continual learning by staying updated on research, best practices, and ethical regulations within the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and other mood-related conditions. Our patient population not only seeks individual therapy but also values community support, which enhances the therapeutic experience through shared engagement in group sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and a demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based treatment methods.

• Excellent assessment skills, with the capacity to develop tailored treatment plans that address unique patient needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and create therapeutic alliance with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a strong background in delivering individual and group therapy.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and therapy notes efficiently.

• A history of effective crisis intervention, with the ability to remain composed and decisive in stressful scenarios.
