The position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your own space in San Francisco, California. Although telemedicine is the primary mode of delivering services, you may also have opportunities for in-person consultations or group therapy sessions when necessary. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of social workers, legal professionals, and educators, ensuring that all aspects of client care are addressed holistically.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to establish individualized treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for couples, families, and individuals, focusing on relationship dynamics and family systems theories.

• Provide age-appropriate interventions and developmentally supportive assessments, particularly for children and adolescents.

• Lead parent support groups, creating a safe space for discussion around issues related to adoption, placement, and the challenges faced by families with prenatally substance-exposed children.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care plans and offer consultations that enhance client support.

• Conduct developmental evaluations for children to identify potential areas for intervention and support.
\n
• Plan and deliver training sessions for various stakeholders, including social workers, educators, and other mental health professionals, covering topics relevant to family therapy and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including couples, families, and children/adolescents. You will work with clients facing a range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. As you engage with these individuals and their families, your therapeutic expertise will be essential in guiding them through difficulties while promoting resilience and emotional health.

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
