Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments via secure video calls, efficiently identifying clients’ mental health needs and developing appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling sessions, adapting your therapeutic approach to match the needs and preferences of each client.

• Utilize virtual tools to perform mental health screenings with precision, collecting vital information to inform treatment strategies.

• Work collaboratively with clients to understand their personal goals, examining their unique circumstances and tailoring therapy accordingly.

• Regularly meet with clients to offer support, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on progress and feedback.

• Contribute to the overall functioning of the practice by participating in team meetings, providing input on program development, and undertaking additional related tasks as assigned.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on supporting a heterogeneous patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders, as well as those dealing with substance use issues. With a commitment to cultural competence, you will adapt your therapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of clients, aiming for effective and meaningful interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Mental Health Counseling (LPCC), or Social Work (LCSW).

• An active, unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2-5 years of direct experience providing therapy to individuals with a range of mental and behavioral health challenges, including co-occurring disorders and substance abuse treatments, is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in various counseling theories, techniques, and evidence-based practices.

• Familiarity with current trends and principles in telehealth and virtual counseling.
