Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial consultations and preliminary interviews, meticulously documenting client history and assessment findings from intake through to discharge.

• Evaluate and assess clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health to form a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
\n
• Skillfully develop individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique challenges of each individual, couple, family, or group.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other counselors to devise and implement comprehensive intervention strategies aimed at holistic client care.
\n
• Provide follow-up care and coordination for clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care through ongoing communication.
\n
• Identify and intervene with clients exhibiting behaviors that may hinder their recovery, providing strategies for crime management and support.

• Offer support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers involved with clients, helping them to manage associated mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base is diverse, ranging from children to adults, each facing a unique set of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and addiction. As a counselor, your role will focus on understanding their individual narratives and needs, working diligently to empower them on their journey toward mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• A passing score from the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems, particularly with software such as AVATAR.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of the effects of prescribed medications and experience with co-occurring physical and emotional health issues, including addiction disorders.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with interpersonal abilities that foster a trusting therapeutic alliance.
\n
• Commitment to staying current with best practices as set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by an attractive sign-on bonus.
