Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health status through video conferencing sessions.

• Create individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, establishing goals and therapeutic strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Provide ongoing therapy to clients on a regular basis, utilizing evidence-based practices and culturally responsive approaches to support their healing journeys.

• Document treatment progress and updates within our EHR system, maintaining accurate and confidential client records.

• Facilitate referrals to additional healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and support groups, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, employing strong crisis management skills to support clients during challenging moments.

• Participate in case consultations and regular team meetings to enhance collaborative care strategies and share progress on client cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Silver Crest, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with various mental health disorders and life challenges. Our clients may present with severe anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, or substance abuse problems. Your role will include providing culturally sensitive therapy to clients from various backgrounds, ensuring accessibility and understanding during their treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Must hold a valid and current Mental Health Counselor license in the state of Texas (such as LMHC, LPC, LCSW).

• Minimum Experience: At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Skills: Strong understanding of mental health disorders, crisis intervention, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competence.

Compensation and Benefits\n
