Work Environment

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while actively engaging with clients through teletherapy. You will collaborate with our dynamic team of mental health professionals in a minimally hierarchical structure that encourages open communication, teamwork, and shared learning experiences. Our full-time work schedule spans Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced workload and time for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their emotional landscape.
• Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are aligned with their unique goals and preferences, employing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment interventions, and effective self-care practices, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to recovery.
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Cooperate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, prioritizing their mental health and well-being.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, integrating new insights into therapy practices to enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and interdisciplinary support.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization, ensuring clients receive the care and respect they deserve.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with relationship challenges, including divorce and familial conflicts. You will work with a diverse client base, addressing their emotional needs with empathy, compassion, and professionalism. Qualifications

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• A demonstrated ability to approach client experiences with empathy, compassion, and nonjudgmental support.

• Proficiency in utilizing therapeutic modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, or narrative therapy enhances the therapeutic experience.
• Prior experience in a remote setting is preferred, demonstrating the ability to engage clients effectively through virtual platforms.

Compensation and Benefits
