Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver evidence-based therapies, including mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and personal aspirations, customizing interventions to meet their specific needs.

• Guide clients in mindfulness exercises, including various forms of meditation and breathing techniques, to foster emotional balance and stress management.

• Facilitate virtual workshops and group classes on mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies, promoting community engagement and support.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to directly address clients’ concerns and enhance overall therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals and healthcare providers to build a comprehensive and integrated treatment approach.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and strategic treatment plans.

• Commit to ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development to enhance expertise in MBSR and related techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients—ranging from adolescents to adults—experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma-related disorders. Your role is crucial in delivering personalized care that addresses each individual’s distinctive needs and facilitates their journey toward improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.

• Strong understanding of mindfulness practices and the intent to integrate these strategies into therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively establish a therapeutic rapport and create a calming and supportive environment.
