Peaceful Mindcare Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role allows you to leverage your skills in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Professional Counseling (LPC), or Social Work (LCSW) to support clients in their mental health journeys. You will be instrumental in providing care and support to individuals and families facing a variety of mental and behavioral health challenges.

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from any location within Oregon. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify treatment needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, and depending on your expertise, conduct family, marriage, or group counseling sessions.

• Facilitate mental health screenings and evaluations to pinpoint specific needs, including co-occurring disorders and substance use issues.
\n
• Document clinical notes and progress within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
\n
• Engage in supervision and peer consultation to refine therapeutic techniques and improve client care.
\n
• Maintain open communication with clients, providing them with the resources and support they need between sessions.
\n
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required to contribute to ongoing organizational growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health challenges. You will guide individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues, often involving family dynamics and relational difficulties. By fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships, you will play a key role in inspiring hope and facilitating healing for both individuals and families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, with active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Strong understanding of current principles and practices related to mental health counseling and family therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, specifically working with individuals facing mental and behavioral health challenges.

• Demonstrated experience dealing with co-occurring disorders and providing group therapy or substance abuse treatment.

• Experience working with families, children, and couples is highly desirable.

• A familiarity with telehealth platforms to facilitate virtual counseling is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
