Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions in the comfort of your chosen environment while still providing crucial outpatient services. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary Child Family Treatment Team, ensuring a comprehensive approach to therapy. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual in-home therapy sessions or facilitate group therapy sessions at our outpatient clinic, ensuring each session is tailored to meet the client’s unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions to reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious behavior and physical violence by teaching clients anger management techniques and enhancing their coping skills.
\n
• Assist young clients and their caregivers in developing effective decision-making capabilities to address in-home behavioral challenges.
\n
• Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and other specialists to coordinate care and provide holistic support.
\n
• Accurately document and submit all pertinent information, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, in a timely manner to maintain compliance and ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Engage in regular team meetings, offering insights and recommendations to improve service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents aged 3-20 with developmental and intellectual disabilities (I/DD), alongside their families. Our aim is to empower these families through comprehensive therapy and support services, focusing on fostering resilience and enhancing communication within family units. Your role will significantly impact these youths by promoting their social skills and facilitating their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are essential for home visits.
\n
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing Positive Behavior Support strategies and interventions in a therapeutic context.
\n
• Prior experience working specifically with children and adolescents, particularly those who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, is highly advantageous.

• Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish or Portuguese are strongly encouraged to apply, as we serve a diverse population.

• Availability for at least 5-10 hours of work per week, primarily in the afternoons from 4 PM to 7 PM, with some flexibility on weekends is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
