Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by effectively managing the therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients in close coordination with physicians and the wider healthcare team.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized treatment plans that focus on goal achievement, enhanced patient engagement, and overall positive experiences.
• Perform evaluations and implement treatment interventions according to established laws and ethical codes, ensuring therapeutic activities are customized for each patient.
• Utilize various therapeutic procedures and techniques to promote functional improvements as per the physician's prescribed care plan.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home therapy programs, including exercises, the use of therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic devices, enabling independence outside the clinical setting.
• Prioritize caseload management, identify staffing needs, and ensure seamless coordination of patient hand-offs and assignments among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from pediatrics to adults experiencing various orthopedic and rehabilitative challenges. This role is pivotal in helping patients navigate their recovery post-surgery or injury, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and support on their path to wellness.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy License in New Jersey is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is mandatory.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of the start date.
• While no prior experience is required, a passion for physical therapy and patient care is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Previous internships or clinical placements in physical therapy settings, particularly in rehabilitation facilities, are desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques specific to orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
