Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, establishing individualized treatment goals and plans that align with physician orders.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices, continually assessing and modifying approaches to meet patient needs and achievements.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and care plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff in delivering exceptional patient care, fostering professional development within the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure integrated care and positive patient outcomes.
• Provide constructive feedback to leadership for operational improvements and contribute to maintaining productivity standards in patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Clear Skies Therapy LLC, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals with recovery needs from surgery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic conditions. This role requires an empathetic approach to understand each client's unique situation and tailor care plans suited to their progress and personal goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage patient caseloads.
• Basic skills in word processing and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Experience working in home care or with a geriatric patient population is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
