Work Environment

This position is performed onsite, in the homes of patients, allowing for a more personalized approach to therapy. Our therapists work closely with clients in familiar environments, helping them to integrate rehabilitation into their daily routines. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, encompassing a standard 40-hour shift. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical conditions and limitations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the latest therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery and functional improvement.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education, training, and resources to patients and their families to support ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering positive relationships with patients to enhance their overall therapy experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients, maximizing their functional potential.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to the operational success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic injuries, pediatric concerns, neurological disorders, and sports-related conditions. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, alleviate pain, and restore independence in their daily activities. Emphasizing a holistic approach, you will be pivotal in guiding patients through injury prevention, rehabilitation, and lifestyle adjustments tailored to their circumstances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and general computer skills.
• A genuine commitment to building meaningful relationships with patients.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, along with state-level licensing.
• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting.
• Current CPR Certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits
