Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our community health clinic, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging therapy groups, providing a platform for clients to connect, share experiences, and support each other’s journeys.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Offer personalized, empathetic counseling sessions to help clients understand their thoughts and emotions and develop effective coping strategies.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that are goal-driven and address their unique needs and preferences.

• Monitoring Progress: Use assessment tools and feedback methods to evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage with psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and consult on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will provide support to those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Your efforts will directly impact their ability to navigate these issues and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in New Jersey.

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 85,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
