Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, specifically focusing on mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Collaborating with clients to design individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique backgrounds and therapeutic goals.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Providing psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, equipping them with the tools necessary for understanding and managing mood disorders.

• Monitoring client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to their evolving needs.

• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each client receives integrated, holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Spring Water, you will primarily work with individuals facing various mood disorders. You will engage with a diverse population of clients, including adults and adolescents, who seek support for their mental health challenges. Your approach will consider each client's cultural context, ensuring sensitivity and understanding in your therapeutic work.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oregon.

• A deep understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, with a strong proficiency in CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
