Business Development Director

Job Description Experience: Director Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 per year Responsibilities Lead all business development, sales, and marketing operations for the hospital Manage, coach, and develop a team of healthcare liaisons and sales professionals Monitor admission trends and implement strategies to achieve and exceed growth goals Analyze key performance indicators including volume growth, payer mix, case mix, and referral performance Identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and business development initiatives Conduct field ride-alongs and provide real-time coaching and training to sales staff Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers, and referral sources Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and development of business development team members Utilize CRM tools to drive accountability, territory management, referral tracking, and activity planning Ensure pre-call planning, activity management, and follow-up expectations are achieved Collaborate with hospital leadership on new service lines, marketing initiatives, and growth strategies Manage marketing budgets, collateral development, public relations efforts, and community outreach activities Understand and support admissions processes, reimbursement systems, utilization impacts, and patient flow initiatives Communicate business performance metrics and strategic insights to senior leadership A bit about us A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to oversee hospital-based sales and marketing operations.
