Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Bridge Over Troubled Waters Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Formulating, implementing, and refining individualized, recovery-oriented treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Conducting ongoing assessments to monitor treatment progress and adapt strategies as necessary.
\n
• Collaborating with clients to equip them with vital coping, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Assisting in the development and execution of individualized service plans, ensuring alignment with recovery goals.

• Providing education around community resources and actively advocating for clients to access these services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults facing a variety of challenges due to mental health disorders, including those who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other diagnoses that can hinder their community involvement and quality of life. The emphasis is on fostering independence while navigating the complexities of mental health recovery.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state license as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

• The ability to practice independently without supervision.
\n
• No disciplinary actions on your license.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong sense of empathy, and effective communication abilities.
\n
• Proficiency in computer usage, including telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
\n
• A reliable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate online sessions.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will also have:
