Work Environment

Working onsite at our Newburgh location, you will be part of a collaborative team of skin care professionals. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and modern treatment rooms to ensure that every patient receives the best care possible. The atmosphere is one of support and teamwork, allowing Nurse Practitioners to thrive and deliver top-tier patient outcomes. Scheduling is primarily Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one late shift each week and occasional Saturday hours, allowing for flexibility in accommodating patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and skin examinations to determine health needs and treatment options.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, encompassing both medical and cosmetic aspects.
• Perform various cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser treatments, ensuring that each procedure aligns with the patient's unique aesthetic goals.
• Assist in skin cancer screenings, advising patients on preventive measures and providing comprehensive post-operative care as needed.
• Offer personalized skincare consults, develop tailored treatment plans, and educate patients on maintaining skin health.
• Collaborate effectively with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Our patient population is diverse, comprising individuals seeking both medical dermatology solutions, such as treatment for acne, eczema, and skin cancer, as well as those interested in enhancing their appearance through cosmetic interventions. Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in dermatology or equivalent coursework in an accredited family nurse practitioner program.
• Certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB) is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat dermatological conditions, especially proficiency in performing cosmetic procedures.
• State licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior clinical experience in dermatology, totaling at least two years in a similar role, particularly in both cosmetic and medical dermatology procedures. Familiarity with the latest techniques and treatments will be advantageous, as will any prior experience in a collaborative setting with dermatology specialists.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
