Work Environment

The Nurse Practitioner will operate onsite at our Home Care facility, allowing for direct interaction with patients and healthcare teams. Working in a fast-paced clinic environment, the ideal candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and therapy professionals, all dedicated to ensuring quality and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in our Pain Management Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations and documenting comprehensive patient medical histories to establish individualized care plans.
• Diagnosing and effectively treating a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions related to pain management through evidence-based approaches.
• Developing, implementing, and revising treatment plans based on current medical guidelines and patient feedback to optimize outcomes.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and lab work, to inform treatment decisions.
• Providing education to patients and their families on pain prevention and management strategies, ensuring they have a solid understanding of their health conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address complex healthcare needs.
• Maintaining accurate, organized, and up-to-date medical records that comply with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Pain Management Clinic serves a diverse patient population, many of whom face significant challenges related to chronic pain, such as arthritis, back pain, and neuropathic disorders. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Nurse Practitioner position will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in pain management or related fields.
• A valid Registered Nurse Licensure in New York and active Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Exceptional clinical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred candidates may have additional experience or training in pain management methodologies, including the use of specific pain management modalities and therapeutic protocols. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Cityscape Healthcare Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 – 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
