Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory analysesincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreadhering to predefined protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, rectify inconsistencies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instrumentation.
• Aid in specimen collection and prepare samples for diagnostic tests as necessary.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of procedures, assist in training new personnel, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Promote a clean, safe workspace and comply with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
