Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ mental health, focusing on emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to identify areas of concern.

• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of students, taking into account cultural backgrounds and individual circumstances.

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to students dealing with mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological conditions.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student mental health care and student success.

• Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on their feedback and response.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues, outlining treatment options available and connecting them to community resources for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs) to document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Uphold ethical standards of practice, ensuring the confidentiality of patient information and obtaining informed consent before beginning treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health issues, including developmental challenges, family dynamics, social integration, and trauma-related stressors. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, along with a current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n
