This role allows you to work remotely from the comfort of your home while being integrated into our collaborative outpatient office team. Our work schedule accommodates a balanced lifestyle with business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mood disorder symptoms, determining their severity and impact on daily functioning.

• Work closely with clients to design personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, preferences, and coping strategies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment possibilities, and helpful self-care practices.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress during sessions, adjusting treatment plans to better cater to clients’ evolving needs.
\n
• Engage proactively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to client care.
\n
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health research, specifically in the area of mood disorders, to enrich client treatment methodologies.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of treatment plans and client interactions in line with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and improve therapy practices.

• Champion de-stigmatization efforts surrounding mental health issues and advocate for client needs within the broader healthcare system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be dedicated to working with individuals presenting mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clients come from various backgrounds and experiences, necessitating a personalized approach to each individual's treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in Washington State.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders.
\n
• Strong foundation in psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and healthcare teams.

• Demonstrable success in delivering results-driven therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
