Position Overview

Back To Shape Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic located in Dayton, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy services, emphasizing patient-centered care in a collaborative, engaging environment. Work Environment

The work environment at our rehabilitation facility is collaborative and dynamic. Our team operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, providing services from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which promotes work-life balance. With a limited patient load, therapists can spend quality time with each individual, allowing for personalized treatment approaches and achieving better patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of adult patients, assessing their physical abilities and identifying impairments that affect daily living.
• Implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that reflect the latest physical therapy practices and cater to the specific needs of each patient.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions using CureMD electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including MDs, OTs, DCs, NPs, and PAs, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient.
• Educate patients on their conditions and empower them with self-management strategies to facilitate their recovery and promote long-term wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with an adult population, specifically individuals aged between 40 to 65 years. You will be treating a diverse array of orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation cases. Our clinic's approach emphasizes building trusting relationships with patients to foster better engagement in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility to practice.
• Strong interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills to effectively manage varied patient scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, although new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly CureMD, is an advantage.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment methodologies is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range from USD 110,000 to USD 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
