Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use history. You will utilize diagnostic tools and interviews to develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Implement various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting strategies to align with each client’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Document clinical progress and maintain compliant records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and physical health.

• Participate in regular team meetings and peer consultations to enhance the quality of care and share insights on best practices and case management strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment modalities, and community resources, empowering them to better understand their conditions and treatment pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals in a detox center setting, often facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. This patient population requires a delicate approach and an understanding of the complexities involved in addiction recovery and mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services is essential.
