Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Directing and implementing personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and promoting rehabilitation.
• Overseeing the work of physical therapy assistants to ensure that therapy plans are executed appropriately and effectively.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using various diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Assessing patients' home environments and recommending modifications to enhance their independence in daily activities.
• Administering manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, providing guidance and motivation to clients as they progress in their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilizing physical agents, such as traction and massage, to aid in recovery and pain relief.
• Fitting and adjusting orthotic and prosthetic devices as needed and making recommendations for enhancements.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborating as an active member of the interdisciplinary team to discuss patient progress and adapt care plans accordingly.
• Educating patients and their families about therapy practices, device usage, and the overall treatment process.
• Participating in case conferences and interdepartmental meetings to enhance patient treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient demographic, including individuals with acute injuries, chronic conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits
