Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and insightful assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and challenges, using evidence-based methodologies.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting achievable goals and outcomes that align with their personal aspirations.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary for effective mental health management.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Engage in regular consultation and collaboration with a holistic care team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and health coaches, to coordinate and enhance client care.

• Continually update clinical knowledge by attending professional development opportunities and staying abreast of the latest research and treatment trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By providing compassionate care and individualized support, you will help clients navigate their personal journeys toward recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid New York State license as either an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong proficiency in leveraging technology for telehealth and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

At least two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role is highly desirable. A background in outpatient settings or experience with telehealth services will enhance your effectiveness in this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
