Key Responsibilities\n

In your capacity as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients' mental health status to create personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients manage mood disorders and other mental health issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care and integrate medical treatment with therapeutic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a varied population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Strong expertise in applying evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
