Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and determine the most effective treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring that each patient feels heard and supported.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting methods based on the evolving needs of each patient.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster overall healing and resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, sharing insights that promote optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during instances of trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients feel safe and supported in distressing situations.

• Educate patients and their families about the psychological effects of trauma, coping strategies, and available community resources, empowering them on their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
