Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services to a minimum of 25 clients through virtual sessions, utilizing appropriate methodologies tailored to individual needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health status and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to HIPAA compliance standards.

• Engage in regular consultations and interdisciplinary meetings with the school staff to align therapeutic strategies with educational support programs.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting therapeutic interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this role consists of adolescents and young adults aged 18 and above, many of whom belong to diverse and often underserved communities. The ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community and those facing unique mental health challenges, is paramount. Your work will directly contribute to dismantling barriers and improving access to necessary mental health care for these populations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited program.

• An active LICSW certification licensed to practice in Massachusetts.

• At least three years of clinical counseling experience post-licensure, with a proven track record of effective therapy delivery.

• Certification or demonstrable knowledge in therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Experience providing psychotherapy to adult clients and a commitment to cultural sensitivity is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
