Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, leveraging telehealth platforms to connect with clients, which allows for a flexible work environment accommodating various schedules, including evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ histories of substance use and mental health conditions, helping to understand their unique backgrounds and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and any underlying mental health disorders, using evidence-based methodologies.
• Facilitate a variety of therapy sessions, including one-on-one counseling and group therapy, employing evidence-based practices to foster healing and resilience.
• Collaborate actively with other members of the treatment team to integrate care, ensuring all aspects of the clients’ well-being are considered.
• Educate clients' families about substance abuse and the recovery process, encouraging their involvement and support in their loved ones’ journeys.
• Maintain detailed and compliant records of client progress and treatment interventions, adhering to all relevant regulations to ensure accountability and quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population of clients who are battling substance abuse issues, including alcohol and drug dependency, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. Understanding the unique backgrounds and challenges our clients face allows you to provide tailored support and interventions that promote recovery and overall mental health.

Qualifications

• A valid license as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW or PsyD .
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, providing the educational foundation necessary for effective practice.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, with demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic techniques relevant to addiction treatment.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, ensuring the application of the most effective strategies for client recovery.
• Exceptional therapeutic, counseling, and motivational skills to empower clients in their recovery journey.
• Strong communication skills, with a collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with a diverse client population and familiarity with culturally responsive treatment practices.
• Background in utilizing telehealth platforms for counseling, enhancing accessibility and engagement with clients.
• Track record of successful client outcomes in addiction recovery or mental health improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and credentials.
