As a full-time counselor, you will work remotely within a community health clinic framework, focusing on crisis intervention and addiction therapy. Work Environment

This position allows flexibility with remote work options, providing a supportive structure that values work-life balance while delivering essential counseling services. Regular work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, enabling you to maintain a healthy routine. Our digital platforms facilitate seamless communication and collaboration with peers, clients, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive client care. This role requires effective use of telehealth technology for counseling sessions and secure documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to ascertain clients' mental health needs and identify appropriate intervention strategies.
• Designing and implementing tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients' unique recovery goals, including crisis intervention strategies and coping mechanisms.
• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling, drawing on a rich toolkit of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and substance abuse specialists, to coordinate holistic client care and ensure seamless treatment pathways.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards in documentation and data management.
• Participating in ongoing clinical supervision, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance your skill set and stay informed about best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your role will be working with individuals struggling with addiction and related mental health issues. You will encounter diverse client backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and resilience stories. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will be essential in supporting clients throughout their recovery journeys, particularly in managing distress, navigating emotional crises, and facilitating relapse prevention. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory.
• Current Independent LMHC License in New York State.
• Strong clinical skills, with an emphasis on addiction therapy and crisis intervention.
• Exceptional ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, employing cultural sensitivity and empathy.

Preferred Experience

• A demonstrated history of working in addiction therapy or related fields is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus to welcome new team members to our organization.
