Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring effective diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique requirements, preferences, and therapeutic goals, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy coping strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care and continuity of mental health services.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health to continually enhance treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will predominantly involve working with clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological issues, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will facilitate individual therapy sessions as well as group therapy environments, fostering a sense of community and support among participants.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
