Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize resources from public and private agencies, along with community organizations, to address the needs of our patients and their families. This includes making appropriate referrals to external resources.

• Participate actively in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure our services align with the best practices in mental health care.

• Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment programs tailored to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute or chronic mental health conditions.

• Offer outpatient psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring techniques to meet diverse client needs.
\n
• Counsel patients and their families on adhering to prescribed treatment plans and medication regimens, within the scope of your expertise.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of patient treatment and progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations and NCQA standards.
\n
• Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries while collaborating with colleagues during staff conferences to refine treatment strategies.
\n
• Supervise post-master fellows or interns when applicable, nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational classes or groups to empower patients and their families through knowledge and support.
