Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly supervision sessions for practicum students and interns, providing guidance as they work toward clinical licensure and engage in their Master’s programs.

• Deliver personalized psychotherapy services to a diverse clientele, which may include individuals, couples, and families facing a myriad of mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with other interdisciplinary professionals and community resources to enhance the quality of care and support for your clients.

• Participate in developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation and records, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at SIAM Psychological Health Center will involve treating a wide range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Current professional liability insurance coverage.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, managing and delivering mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience supervising practicum students or those familiar with outpatient therapeutic practices will be given preference. Additionally, knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, will enhance your ability to connect with clients effectively.
